A curious mouse Final

A picture from my last video : This is a small introduction intended to a theater. https://youtu.be/ZtSUktC3yyo This was done with Blender cycles. I had some difficulties with the soundtrack (samples from www.universal-soundbank.com), so if you have any tip, I'd be pleased to read them.

  • Wow, I didn't expect that much help ^^

I'll try to take your councils into account as much as my skills allow me (I am myself a one-year-old Blender user x).

    Thank you very much

I'll probably be back in a few weeks with the new video

  • Actually, I would use the "comb"on the mouse's hair so that it is not all standing straight up. If you mess with the hair tools, then you should be able to rough it up a bit.

Might I also suggest doing something more with the eyes? Unless that is what you were going for, I think that it would add a nice touch by adding some reflectiveness to the eyeball.

  • Well, I'm not very experienced in Blender myself. Actually, I just started. However, I would suggest improving the rig, because the movement of the mouse is very rigid. It needs more movement throughout the rest of the body. Also, I would say that the edges of the mouse are very sharp. If you could somehow add a motion-blur, or smoothing tool, then I think it would look much better!

  • Hi,

First, thank you for watching. ^^

Then, I just want to know if you think that it should be improved (because it looks fairly unrealistic) or should be kept this way.
I ask you that because I'm working on an improved version of this video, with better models, rigging and scenery.

  • Hahaha! I loved the skittering of the mouse's feet!
