It was an amazing series of tutorials! But in my opinion, the summary at the end of the video was missing. It could only contain important information. It should be as I said, at the end of the video and also at the end of the chapter.

I've been using Blender for a while now, but this course was really excellent and I learned a lot of new things. Really great pacing, clear instruction, and the right amount of detail for an overview course. Thanks for putting this out!

after several years of experience with fusion 360, I decided to start a transition into blenderΒ  and had an ok experience with some of the tutorials on youtube, but this was a much better. the pacing, step by step method of going through each feature and showing the effects it can have really gave me a much better understanding of the modeling aspect and how it works.Β  I cannot wait to start doing the other courses!

I feel way more comfortable with the basics and finding my way around the blender 4.2 interface now, and learnt some things that I never knew that Blender was capable of. Looking forward to making some artwork now, thanks!

As so many, I followed the hype to the doughnut tutorial and found I was racking up more questions than confidence. A week later and only three videos in, I decided to look elsewhere. There was a stop in another beginner tutorial based on product visualization which was doing a much better job of building my confidence, but I got turned around a few times when I hit the wrong keys on my keyboard.

Enter CGCookie. I find the touch-every-button approach of this tutorial series incredibly satisfying and it allowed me to avoid getting lost in the universe of Blender's capabilities. The tutorial re-wired my brain about Blender, about digital art, about what it takes to be a modern-day artist. I'm truly grateful and highly recommend this course. Yep, a total fanboy.Β

I've done the donut, and a couple other beginner courses prior to the cgcookie course. CGCookie's course is by far the best. It's not monkey see, monkey do. The functions of the tools are explained, and then demonstrated. They even cover a lot of the common pitfalls that can stall out progress on these courses.Β

Overall, an excellent beginner course from Blender.Β

Amazing lessons, extremely helpful to put everything in the right order. There are many tutorials online, but this is the one that you must see first. The instructor is very professional, takes care of all the topics and makes you in a very friendly way to understand the base of this amazing program.

Can't wait to see more tutorials from him and CQCookie overall, very professional, congratulationsΒ

This section of the course has been instrumental in familiarizing me with Blender's user interface. I've learned how to perform essential functions such as deleting, editing, adding, coloring, rotating, and scaling objects. Additionally, I've gained proficiency in using Geometry Nodes and the sculpting tools.
