Hi , I do not understand how you fixed the edge flow at 29:50. Why it did not work earlier (the topology stayed the same). Should I worry about it if I am using blender 2.8?

Is it considered a problem if I stay on 2.79? I really dont have time to re learn Blender from scratch, which is what 2.8 i s like to me, so different.
