Just thought I would share some grease pencil tips. (mostly to help Kent in the live streams)
As you may know, the shortcut for the grease pencil is D, hold D to start drawing with the grease pencil.
You can also expand on using D - it is the modifier key for grease pencil, that is Hold D and press X to delete the current grease pencil, easy to remember and useful during a live stream. Hold D and press W to get grease pencil settings, hold D and press Q for the GP tools - that is choose between straight lines, poly, eraser.
For those wanting to add shortcuts for tasks, when you find it hard to think of an unused key, think about using a key modifier. In the input settings under the keypress you have checkboxes for modifiers, Ctrl/Shift/Cmd and then a little grey box, click this and press any key to use as a modifier, that is any key on the keyboard, this leads to a huge range of key combinations that are not being used.
