Workflow Q: swapping between modelling, UV unwrapping, texturing etc

Question

I'm still working on Noodle Head, the companion to Pot Head. I'm definitely stuck in the weeds and am spending too much time on details when I flatout know I should be moving on. This is, for the most part, my first project outside of following the steps of a tutorial and learning time management and balanced attention to detail is something to overcome.

That being said, is it easy enough to start unwrapping what components I know are completed and make minor tweaks here and there? Or is it generally recommended to ensure all modelling is finished and commit to it being finished, as not to cause headaches when going back to unwrap changes?

    I would finish modeling first.
Making changes later will mean unwrapping again, why waste time doing something twice.
UV unwrapping can be extremely tedious and frustrating at times, especially on a detailed model like you have.

Yeah I as well would complete one stage before moving on to the next one. I'll finish up all my modeling, be sure I'm happy, break the spell in my head of being hung up small things and forcing my brain to move on, then I start unwrapping it all.
