Matching keyframe curves

In other apps I use for animation there are usually a script/plugin/add-on/way that allow me to copy the keyframe velocities and overall bezier curve shapes. That is extremely handy to copy from a keyframe-set to another, and to avoid a wonky animation as Kent puts at 18:20.

Just wondering if there's a hidden Blender add-on that does that kind of thing?

    HI Nathalia,

I am not sure I understand exactly...can't you just use CTRL+C  CTRL+V for that? Sorry, it's been a while..I'll probably have to re-watch the video, to see what you mean.

I don't get it either, you can select everything in the graph editor and Shift + D to duplicate and move things along in the same way you are describing. Can you maybe post a screen grab video or screenshots to see what you mean more clearly?

Wow, can we just copy and paste the ease with ctrl+c and ctrl+v? That's mind blowing!

So, I'm not trying to copy the values, or the keyframes... I'm trying to match the easing. Let's say I worked on a custom curve shape in the graph editor and now I want other elements to be in synch, but they have different values... sometimes even entirely different properties (say I want the rotation to match the translation). Is there a way to copy the curve shape (the incoming and outgoing velocities), or do we have to do it manually for each curve?

I tried showing it here (it's After Effects though - hopefully it makes sense): https://youtu.be/pf-ojailWg0

So it looks like you are using two different interpolation types on each curve.

The first is Bezier and the second is Linear.

With the curve you want to change selected (Linear), press T and select Bezier for the interpolation type.

Yep, and after I change it to Bezier I stretched the handles to get the movement I wanted. I want to copy the EXACT same handles onto the other shape. That is fairly difficult to do by eye, and tedious if I had 100 squares. That is why I was wondering if there is a way to copy the easing, not the values or keyframes.

The only thing that comes to my mind is that you can see the values of the handles in the N panel
