Mecha concept- R72
Personal project, mecha robot design.Started with few quick rough sketches and then evolved the design further in 3d.
Modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting all done using Blender.Used Photoshop for post processing.
rachaelmcpherson, here are some reference images for heavily armed mechas: https://www.amazon.com/JoyToy-Action-Figures-Collection-Military/dp/B081LCGXWT I guess you can buy them, too. And no, that wasn’t me: I was in no shape to post on forums after my crash; I woke up at night in the hospital, with no memories of what had happened. Sounds like an action movie, but I swear it’s true.😁
aanarchymedes oww:/ did u suffer any injury ? is this you https://www.ducati.ms/threads/crashed-my-st3-need-help-with-bodywork.55376/post-521262 ?
okay! next time i'll try weapon wielding mecha :3
rachaelmcpherson, to make sure it doesn’t look bland, next time make it hold an accessory (a weapon?) in one hand, for example. As to how I crashed that bike, spectacularly: even made the local news, briefly😎.
mmasta thank you!
aanarchymedes Aw damn :/ how did how did you crash the bike?
:3 thanks a lot! tbh your previous feedbacks helped me had a lot of influence not including unnecessary wires yet after finishing the model it looked bland so added a couple of kitbash wires and shock absorbers after finishing to spice it up a bit:p
that was a great Job. Respect!!!
That one is a lot — and I mean, a lot — better that the earlier attempts I recall.😀. Reminds me of the Duke I crashed in 2008: here (don’t know if it’s going to open https://1drv.ms/u/s!Al6ujOE75kIHsxfyo1NJXzc2a_nY ) You see: it can be cool and menacing, and yet still practical and realistic (can’t help noting a couple of loose hoses/cables still hanging out though😜)
