I sketched this by hand by looking and copying the concept art of Sora for Kingdom Hearts II. Yes I know its pretty much the exact same image, I wanted practice and it turned out better than my usual stuff. My goal for drawing is to have my cartoon style, or anime style, whatever, be similar to the style of the art of Kingdom Hearts. I used this as a beginning practice image to ease into the style and to get better with my concept art drawings.
The sketch is finished, but I may tweak somethings to make it better and get rid of some errors I made. This is part of a bigger project because now I am going to practice coloring the image on my computer and see if I can get a sense of the coloring on a computer, since I never have completed a successful colored image yet.
Side note: Kingdom Hearts is terrific and has a wonderful story. Play it and love it.
