I created this scene after watching Jonathan Lampel´s "Mastering mountain environments" tutorial, which was very helpful. I used "Realistic Nature Asset Pack" from CG Geek and a free asset from blendswap "Wild Grass" from Niklas Holmberg.
The one figure sort of reminds me of The Shrike from Dan Simmons' Hyperion.
