Dancing flames Final

I wasn´t able to draw properly for a long time. I lacked the motivation and inspiration, but I finally was able to paint something good again x3 I just wanted to make a study at first to get back into drawing, but it turned out lto be a real illustration in the end. Feedback is welcomed!

  • cruento Thank you! I draw for a looong time, but still have a lot to learn :D I was on holiday when the BC started, so I had enough time for everything. But now I struggle to keep up with the BC alone since work started again x_x
I think the forehead is too round or protrudes to much? I want to make some changes to the drawing according to some critics I received. I try to make the forehead less odd then ^^
NP, I try to add GIFs to my next drawings as well! I hope they help understanding my process!

  • dieterweireldt Thank you very much! I do like to look at the drawing process of other artists to learn something, that´s why I started to provide them as well :)
According to critics from some other sites the anatomy is fine over all, but I could improve my lightning. One guy mentioned that the flames look detached from the whole picture. I try to improve it once the BC is over =)

  • Also, thanks for the GIF. This is really helpful for my understanding of drawing!

  • Really great!
My drawing skills are more like Stick man ;)
I don't know where you get the time to make this great sword on BC1-1908 and finish that ;)
I think the part where the neck/hair translation is very good and smooth but the forehead/hair part looks a bit odd to me.

  • thanks for the gif showing the build up steps, really informative!
Think the painting is great! Don't know enough about anatomy to fully be able to crit, but it's definitely aesthetically pleasing
