The Matrix's sentinel Final

By far the most complex project I have created, since I went through a long process of sculpting, retopology, modelling, making textures and rigging!. I just watched the movie last week and realised how cool this things are! Unfortunately there is not much Matrix fan art on the internet, so I immediately wanted to make one. I modelled it using photo-references from destroyed movie props and some collectable toys. The idea is also to animate it, the model is now fully rig with movable tentacles, working legs, able to hide and unhide the antenna and also able to close and oped the hands. I tried to stay optimised so I would not have millions of polygons. If Animation is going to be trouble I guess I could bake normals in the tentacles and make a lowpoly version of it. I applied some of the knowledge I learnt in CGcookie this first week, it has been really awesome! specially for the rigging using constrains and getting around with detail.
