slowly working through the character sculpt tutorial.
currently looks like an alien baby lol.
hands coming along, although i feel im working so slow, like going through mud. might need to try some speed sculpting soon even if it turns out terrible.
not fully finished but i want to move on now, not bad for a second sculpt after Melvin.
ooption yeah i know that feeling, had a wacom baboo a5 from about 20 years ago that stopped working with windows 10. also needed a new screen so i saved up and went for a Huion GT-220. like a cheaper version of the wacom cintic. pretty good all in all. probably went a bit deep but i liked the idea of a monitor so i could see what i was doing.
at the moment im struggling on the hands. not sure what detail to shoot for with smoothing being a problem.
i think getting used to the tablet is a good idea. i have a like 20 yr old wacom that works like 10 percent of the time. im still predominantly mouse sculpting. are you drawing your sculpting directly on an image? that would be something to try...
ooption yeah he is getting there, trying to get used to working with my tablet monitor. more physically taxing than i at first though since im not used to drawing.
im working on that one too. i think the eyes are turning out really nice and the ear looks pretty good too. overall it looks like its coming along . but yeah. i started making an alien on another layer of the same file in fact. i thought the aviator needed a foe.
