It definitely depends on the file, try uploading it to PasteAll and adding a link to it here.

It doesn't crash on my system, but it does take forever to build the BVH for all those hair objects. I think you just have too many hair particles.

hmm ya but with lesser hair you see the scalp of the head :s is there a way to somehow fix that then ? like if i lower it to 500 or 300 that the end result still will look good for when i want to animate it ?

so you also rendered it then i suppose ? does it also takes 2 hours or not so long ?
the crash is then because of too many hair particles

Try using something like 10 main hair particles and then use lots of children particles to fill in the space. Since children are instanced, it should save quite a bit of time.

question is there a way to to fix this ? as you see now in side view it looks pretty much ok (front hair bangs ) but in front view its like she does not has a lot of hair in the front (front bangs) now i was thinking about changing the amount of hair particles but if i do that this happens for all hairlocks :s this is the picture to see the problem

For some sane...more like insane reason my up to date desktop crashes alot while in blender too with using a lot of hair particles. Its an annoying thing, sadly I wish blender updated to make the load of using so much hair...more stable.

Color wise that hair you have made looks stable and really cared for final product wise. Good luck on your future crash free renders then.

Your was successfully !
