Owen (eoinfalcon)
Quick WIP of my character that I've bin thinking of since Tim did a hint hint nudge nudge in the past stream's This will probably be just quick render of a character before I do a Full illustration and I can come back to this for reference. I'm supper stocked for this contest

I found the page for the old battered bunnies contest, but I haven't had luck with finding more specifics about the world these guys live in. Does that exist?
-
It's in the old community archive OVER HERE. It's a great way to get some inspiration for the new contest!

Doing some thumbs for hair and face designs
-
I was wondering are we allowed to combine 2D & 3D elements into our submissions? Or would you prefer everything be drawn?
-
If I have time, I'll try this again! I got some very good feedback on how to improve what I'd done before. ...Haven't drawn in a while, but maybe I can think up something!
-
Starting with the scene this time, I think it'll help me keep the characters grounded when I add them in.
Two different views of the same place: A bar with pool table and slots along the back wall. I'm thinking kinda like a gambling den for their hangout. Simple 2 point perspective, viewing from pool table or from end of the bar. I think I'll be using the second view.
-
Shouldn't there be a logo for the Kay-9 that we can incorporate into our designs? The Battered Bunnies had one.
-
Can it be a traditional artwork????
-
Yes, it can.
-
-
Can I enter the competition even if I am not 18?
-
small thumb of what I'm working on at the moment...
-
Great, this looks awesome. I'm just going to give up now lol,
-
-
aaaa, idk if this is done yet?? ;; i might render it more, but I thought hEY, why not base her on cerberus? i'm a friccin geek-- more like a 13 yr old with no life but... geek sounds a little cooler!!
-
It looks really cool and I love the background. I think you should define the weapon more though. Good work!
-
-
just a thumbnail sketch of my KAY-9 of choice.
-
Since I've already submitted an entry, I'm going to grind out concepts until I run out of steam.
This is the composition I'm working on this time.
-
is there anywhere I could see your art? Like deviant art or instagram? You're really good!
-
Amazing perspective! Great job so far.
-
-
I'm going with an oriental japanese look. I see that most go with 20th century european clothes. I wonder if it'll be acceptable.
-
A little sketch of my character. Defiantly going to change the pose and I have a hard time with colors so I'm not sure about them.
-
Another random little Mockup for the contest.
-
Will be adding there masks on once I'm done working with there colors
-
I have my character(s) figured out and his story. Im now just playing with designs on how to make him fit in my style while hitting all the requirements. :)
-
he looks perfect for an over size weapon IMO =0

I could use any sort of critiques on this. But, this is the first character design...I might post the next one later. ( also...for some reason when I saved it the image flipped...oh well)
-
I really like his mask! The texture and detail looks really good so far. His pose does seem a little stiff and slightly stretched. Try having his back angled slightly more from his hips. You would probably see a little more of his arm hidden behind his body. And don't cut off that hand in the front show it and be proud. That's all I got. Keep it up!
-
Thanks ffaithfulimagination! The pose has been throwing me off. I'll try what you suggested! Thanks :)

I'm still picking away at this extreme fisheye shot
