It's not an important question, but I want to know why
I don't know much thing about 'empty' object. And I found that you used properties panel instead hotkey 'S' to size the empty.
When I sized my empty with hotkey 'S', realized the size value in Empty data panel doesn't change.
What are the differences between these?

crewJonathan Williamson (jonathanwilliamson)The size property is the actual size of the empty in global space. Using the Scale tool is like applying a modifier.
For example, if you have an empty with a size of 1.0 and then scale it 0.5 the actual size has not changed, but the display size has been multiple by 0.5.
