I don't understand add rotation or scale (Cntrl+A, last step of the video), I tried with 2 cubes one rotated and one no, I thought it was to apply objects others rotations or locations but It does not work. thank you very much.

    When transforming objects in Object Mode (rotate, scale, translate), essentially you're applying a multiplier against the original value. What this means is that this multiplier then gets applied to each instance of the object (like each step of an array), which results in each instance being shifted relative to the previous instance. By Applying the scale/rotation you're updating the initial value to be the new value (after multiplication), and removing the multiplier, such that each instance is identical to the previous one.
