Alt Click currently doesn't work for me. I'm using an Apple wireless keyboard (no numpad) and a Magic Mouse (no scroll wheel or RMB). I use RMB selection, via Command Click. I'm trying to figure out the equivalent shortcut for select edge loops, but Alt Click and Alt Command Click don't do anything. Adding Shift and Control doesn't work, either. How can I select edge loops quickly?

Jonathan Williamson (jonathanwilliamson)You should be able to select edge loops with ALT+RMB, which on the Magic Mouse is just clicking on the right side of the mouse. It's been a while since I've used a Magic Mouse, but you might need to enable "Secondary Click" in the OS X System Preferences > Mouse.

Thanks, that works, though I'll have to un-learn my Command Clicking.

In case someone else has this issues I found that in Linux (Linux Mint), it was Shift+Alt Click. Alt Click doesn't seem to select anything. Just wanted to point this out in case other Linux users come across this. not sure it's the same for all variants or not, but it worked for me.

I am on linux too. Thanks for the find.

If anyone else wants to know how to select edge loops using Alt Command LMB, I found a workaround: http://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/35397/how-can-i-select-edge-loops-with-magic-mouse-on-a-mac?noredirect=1#comment86576_35397
