Is there a reason you skipped lasso select. Is it too advanced or do you just hate it? Or are you going to add a lasso select tutorial in the future?

I skipped it simply to avoid teaching too many topics. There's many, many selection tools in Blender, most of which are really not that beneficial when first starting out. That being said, lasso is awesome and I use it quite often. But if I had to pick I'd choose box select.
