Using ref images like cartoon head, logo on render posts in ig, fb ,other

Hi, I just finished the cartoon head and am planning to post my render/work on ig.  Is it ok to use the ref images/logo on my renter post on ig  esp if i make it small like in top corner of post so people can see what i was starting from?  I will also tag cgcookie ig if its ok.

Also, I expect it'd be alright to post my attempt here too and get ya'll's recommendations on improvements?  I  thought i'd  come back and try this one again without watching as much as i can after completing the gun exercise  to try and learn as much as I can and the same for the gun before I start the Husky puppy exam.  Any recommendations ?

Thanks

Curtis

  • posting it here is exaclty what you need to do to get recommendations and such...

    • What are your thoughts about posting exercise renders  on ig ,fb etc when you followed instruction  to create the model/scene like this as opposed to doing all the work yourself?  I feel like as long as I own up to the fact I followed via instruction/tutorial on the post  it is alright .

    • you gotta start somewhere and if you give credit where credit is due you should be good to go...

    Absolutely! Go for it :)

That's an excellent idea. Not everyone has the patience for that, but by doing so you're going to learn a lot faster. Good luck!
