What happens if a Polystrip stroke goes and continues over an existing face?

  • Jon Denning(gfxcoder)

shinsaku the active mesh is the target mesh. any other visible mesh is considered source mesh

    Thank you for the answer

  • Jim Morren(journeyman)

Indeed, I know a few artists that would love this is it where a stand-alone, that's why I asked ;)

  • Yves Perera(shinsaku)

sry stroke* and not "strike" ^^

When you started a retopo and left the mode, the retopology becomes regular mesh. but somehow in you demo, when you go back in the retopo tool, it becomes once again the retopology of the object you are working on. How come it doesn't become the new source and how come blender knows/remembers that that regular geometry was the retopo strikes ?

Can we start a Polystrip stoke, starting from a triangle?

  • Jon Denning(gfxcoder)

aaninjainatree yes, as long as the geo is a strip of quads
