The ability to paint ON the mask is a new addition to the recent SP builds. Couldn't do this before.

Is their a way to import a spec map in substance? I was working on a character whose hair I painted in blender but then converted the color to greyscale for spec but when I tried to work with it in substance it was making the whole thing shiny.
