[Q] When I was using Unity camera training I learned a lot about LERP (linear interpolation). I think that describes the slow begin and slow end, right? Blender does this with the S-curve doesn't it?

I believe a linear interpolation in Blender means "constant velocity", more or less.
blanchsb an s-curve is not linear, I think
