Creating Icicles with Blender 2.8
Live Stream Host: Kent TrammellA seasonally appropriate project: Icicles. During this stream I will create an icicle render from scratch. The goal is realistic lighting and shading with a macro camera angle. Meaning up-close and strong depth of field.
Note that these images are photos and not a preview of the final render. But we'll be creating something along these lines.
UPDATE: Here's the render we'll be creating:
Uh, Well, I've been drawing since I was little, but seriously drawing for... a couple years? I know between September and December I was really focused, so I think the more time you put into it consistently, the faster you'll see results.
February just as an artificial deadline
Heyo it's Pavel!
How goes it?
Heya, folks!
Heya Rita!
Not the first. :( Hi everybuddy.
Any specific reason why February?
I'd say you pulled that off! I take it it was textured manually?
And I need a portfolio ready for at least February
But the thing is time, it takes a lot of time to do so
Also Silent how long did it take you to get a steady hand in 2D?
Well, maybe. I'm trying to aim for a very detailed render

Depends what you're going for I feel. I feel it's pulls off a great showroom-esque vibe.
Sometimes you need a plain background to not distract from the awesome work you put in.
So far it's just the tire in a plain background
It is too simple, I need an environment to go along with the model
Thanks, but as always, I feel it should be better
Yeah, that's very good, Omar.
