Blender 2.81 New Features and Changes Overview

Snap to middle of edge without that option would be pretty bad.

Check out sculpting addon at Gumroad. I can't remember what it is called
I like looking at addons, although I ultimately use very few in my projects
The quad remeshers are always a little theorethical in their practical use imo. Manual retopo is here to stay, even if it does get streamlined by guide lines.
Quad remeshers can be nice if you want to generate a basecage for multires sculpting once dyntopo becomes too slow. But you will still retopo in the end imo.
