BC1-1801: Week 3 - Digital Clay
Live Stream Host: Kent TrammellThis event is part of the January 2018 Class, "Getting Started with 3D Modeling & Blender".
Digital sculpting is the more artistically intuitive method of 3D modeling. If pushing and pulling verts felt like the hard way of doing things, sculpting will be a welcomed alternative!
This stream collaborates with the Fundamentals of Digital Sculpting course. We’ll be discussing/demonstrating the pros and cons of digital sculpting as well as how it compares to mesh modeling. Again, practice makes perfect with any craft, so we will practice sculpting as well. Bring your questions and be sure to have your pen and tablet ready to practice with me!
Greetings all
Hello Everybody!
T-minus 5 minutes
Evening all (well .. evening for me that is) 😀
Hello folks!
Hi everyone!
Hello!
Hello Kent!!!
Hello everyone!!! :)
Ok I just set it to live. We're trying youtube today instead of ustream, so you'll need to refresh and press play. ANd to be safe, refresh again as I initially put the wrong embed in there. Unless you want to watch me test the setup from earlier today ;P
Hello everyone :)
Principaled shader and denoising have been a life saver, specially for interior scenes
sound and video
I would love a course on interior scenes. Especially showcasing some newer features like the principled shader and maybe Evee.
Is hard to get a realistic feeling of the light bouncing on the whole scene
Interior renders force you to understand how raytracing works, global illumination, bounce lighting
Jonathan made it many moons ago
That would be awesome, there was only one architecture tutorial on CGC
I've wanted to do some interior rendering myself. I should do a class on it in the near future
Turns out interior decorating is really freaking hard
