This event is part of the January 2018 Class, "Getting Started with 3D Modeling & Blender".
Digital sculpting is the more artistically intuitive method of 3D modeling. If pushing and pulling verts felt like the hard way of doing things, sculpting will be a welcomed alternative!
This stream collaborates with the Fundamentals of Digital Sculpting course. We’ll be discussing/demonstrating the pros and cons of digital sculpting as well as how it compares to mesh modeling. Again, practice makes perfect with any craft, so we will practice sculpting as well. Bring your questions and be sure to have your pen and tablet ready to practice with me!
Back in the Day! :)
ok thanks :D
My crease brush pulled out the edges so much I have a weird shape. This is going to take lots of practice!
Is there a way to use the Grab Brush along the Normal of the surface? Or directly towards the camera?
I remember an old sci-fi weapon tutorial you did, all sculpted, then Jonathan did the repoto, anything like that on the horizon?
Does the grab brush works like the proportionnal editing?
Do you have a favorite youtube video of someone sculpting something awesome?
I think they removed it, I haven't seen it in a while
Space Invader? :)
I kinda remember there is a setting on user preferences... VBO?
