I was browsing images of real sculptures (inspirational, all) and spotted La Jeune Tarentine by Alexandre Schoenewerk.
I'd love to see it in person (Musee D'Orsay has it I think) but until I can afford to run off to Paris, I figured I'd have a bash at recreating it.
I never did get around to filling in the details, but I did try to use a subsurf shader to make it look pretty.
Preemptively, overly cautiously (perhaps) flagged as mature.
