Blender Exercise: Bouncing Ball

    If this is your first animation in Blender - you’ve done really well!

    This is very good but here are a few things to look at to improve your spacing.
    Have a look at the first few frames, the middle few and then the snap down to the ground. These all could be a little more connected.
    What do I mean by that?
    Well, the first few frames (after about 3-4) have spacing that is a little too even. Then it starts to accelerate nicely in the middle, but the snap to the ground is a little too big (it is in a nice spot but the preceding frames give it the appearance that it is too big of a gap).

    So how do you make it better? have to train your eye through practice.
    But here are some things to try.
    From the spacing I see here it tells me that the curve handles are probably pulled a little too far and the timing is a little too slow, causing a section near the start to be too evenly spaced.
    Look at your curve in the GE and zoom in to a decent size to see if it remains a nice parabola for the entire time.
    You can also turn on your motion paths for the armature and see the spacing in the viewport.

    But once again Jack, you’ve done a really great job. Well done.

    Congratulations :) , this looks nice and smooth, although I feel the ball bounces back up a bit too quickly.
