    Nicely done! Smooth, round (maybe he could have a bit bigger belly, though?) and detailed. I'd only retouch his right hand - looking from behind, the gap seems to be too deep and runs through his thumb. (And yes, I just spent two minutes looking at my right hand doing the same thing...). As to the skin modifier, I've been using it recently and it seems to be fuelled by pure magic. Black magic, on most days. It sometimes helps to subdivide the area that's misbehaving, at other times you just have to move things around until they falls into place.

    It doesn't work very well and I think it hasn't been touched in quite a while since the developer that made it no longer works at the Blender Foundation. When you are building the body, 99% of the time there would be big holes that are very hard to close and they are very annoying (sometimes they would only close if you move the model just 1 pixel forward and so on, otherwise they will always be there)
