Exercise 10
This is an exercise submission on the exercise Antenna Overlap
This submission has passed!
Exercises are a great way to test what you've learned given certain restraints, while getting feedback from your peers. Plus, they're a lot of fun!
Hey Newbie.
Good work so far. You've done enough to pass but here are some notes to help you push your skills further.
-at the moment the main things that can be improved are with the head motion (which will break the antenna a bit)
-The antic motion moves start backwards, but then it dips downwards before moving forward. This isn't quite connected to the path of motion for the main move. It's almost like a u-bend. That all should feel connected. But the main move is straight to the left, so the antic can be straight to the right. (Hope that makes sense)
-Not the spacing on the main move is pretty even, See if you can shift it so it is speedup up to a point and then slowing down (avoiding the even spacing). This will make the move more lively.
-When the head gets to the end of the move, you can treat it like the logo that was overshooting. At the moment, it hits a wall and then comes back to the final pose, but you can slow in/out of each change of direction more and overshoot twice.
Now with the antenna - editing the head will break things as I mentioned, but at the moment it feels a little too quick to reach its full bend in the main move, and it also stops too suddenly at the end.
But overall you did a really nice job on that.
Keep up the hard work!
