V2Let's put that graph editor knowledge into use in this fun and easy animation exercise.
Animate the ball moving in a circular path.
There are many ways to achieve this animation, however, the aim here is to practice using the graph editor.
Use 5 keyframes and render the viewport with the motion paths.
Loop the animation 5 times.

Not getting a circular motion path even after updating unless I make cyclic on extrapolation mode!
Is it normal to have to make extrapolatio mode -make cyclic on a circular motion path before it will make it a nice round circle? Even after I updated to the round numbers 2,0 0,2 etc for all 5 of the x , z values and updated I still have a onion looking path.

To use E and 5 to add 5 frame in between 2 keyframes does not always work...?

To use E and 5 to add 5 frame in between 2 keyframes does not always work...?
Hello,
I select all my keyframes then I move the cursor bar in between two frames and press E then 5.
Sometimes it does what's shown on the video (insert 5 frames by moving the next keyframe by 5 frames to the right), sometimes it does the contrary (removing 5 frames by moving the previous keyframe by 5 frames to the right)... I am not sure what I am doing wrong?

Hey Wayne, just want to say I'm loving these lessons. For the first time, I'm getting some results and feel as if I can reproduce them you're actually making me feel competent. So thanks a lot for that. While the lessons are great and easy to follow might I offer one criticism. If that alright I would suggest reiterating some times. It seems you prefer not to restate things you previously covered and you do present the information in an organized and concise way. Still, there are times when there is so much minute information that i usually have to rewind to see what I missed or didn't quite get. I think just revisiting certain important details whenever you think it's important or even naturally redone in the flow. Anyways thanks for your work and I'm gonna dig into some more of it. I'm gonna be an animation genius because of it.

Not really a question as more of an observation

Not really a question as more of an observation
So… the fact that the animation is looping doesn’t help the motion path to become perfectly circular. We need to Extrapolate --> make cyclic to accomplish that. Guess I would have never thought of that. Which through experimentation we get the same thing by applying a “cycle modifier” to the channels instead… cool
Uggggh… how do we get the motion path to render in order to upload the exercise?
Well… strike that last. EEVEE it would seem runs on my underpowered laptop just fine. It took a little longer than yours to render the animation, but did so just fine. Guess I have to have a wee bit of faith in technology. hee hee hee
Wayne… I have to say, I’m really enjoying this and I love your sense of humor(humour) though this as well.
And as I think of this, I’m going to have another go at that interpolating exercise and use the viewport render to see if that makes a difference.
