While I thrash about with the inventory script, I started work on the outside part of my little game – and I wanted a sppoky dark environment – so I went looking a skybox texture availability. Not much!
So I decided to create my own using Bryce 7.1. Until the end of March 2012, it is available for ***free*** from Daz3D. Here is the link:

The rendering times was short for the “martian” skybox, and much longer for the “dark valley”. This was due to the more complicated material applied to the latter.
Bryce can export .fbx files – so it might be useful as an alternative terrain creator.

what license are you releasing these under?
