Operators with Unity Script

In this tutorial Patrick Boelens walks us through a quick overview of some of the most commonly used operators in Unity Script. These operators are commenly used in many others languages as well. We will be comparing various variables such as Apples, Oranges, and Pears to see how decremented and incrementing could affect variables. Though this example is not a real world example, the lesson can be applied to other game scripts, or applications.

Operators Covered

=, +, +=, ++, –, !=, <=, ==, &&, ||

 Prerequisite videos to watch

Normally we like each Unity tutorial to stand on it’s own, but some times with scripting it can be usefully to watch a few before hand.
