In this tip tutorial we will look at how a “generic” ice and snow shader is composed and what it takes to achieve a realistic look. We will be using the preset scene that comes with the Modo 501 Content Pack which is designed and optimized for creating shaders.

    Once again thank you for the tutorial, it feels like making tutorials for Modo is an unappreciated form of art but I want to say that I appreciate it at least :D

    blender user new to modo,just got 601 the other day,hope to see modo cookie grow,can’t recreate the things I have done with blender yet,not used to the ui but I agree with Ninthjake that there aren’t allot of places to learn modo.The shaders and rendering looks to be allot less of a pain than cycles.
