In this tip modo video tutorial we’ll start to introduce the Snapping features inside Modo. We’ll talk about how to use it so align a mesh to other elements inside the scene, or how to use it during mesh modeling to snap to the grip, and we’ll talk in general about this feature to go more in depth on how to use it in a more advanced way in a future
tutorial.

Hi,
thanks for the effort, but accent is horrible and the tutorial covers just obvious things, like that snapping is enabled if we check the snapping option.
Please less talking and more stuff
But anyway thanks
We are working to cover a broad range of topics to help all users. From the person that just picked up Modo for the first time, new to 3D to the more intermediate artist with our ocean or shader tutorials.
Thanks for the feedback though and see you on the next one.

Hi Matt,
I can truly understand you and from my point of view it is very simple and a lot of user doesn’t need it, but we have to release stuffs for 1st time user too, so, we have to release some very simple Tip tutorials, we make the same on MaxCookie. We can release how to create an animated 3D ocean with Modo, but how to use basic snap also…just to cover entire community.
I hope you can find useful other tutorials we prepared and we’ll release in the future.
And just a little comment about the accent. I can only say sorry to all the user has problems with my accent, but I’m Italian, and I hope you can understand that my accent can be not so precise. On the other hand, I can say with no problems, that I’ll try to do my best to have better accent in the future.
Thanks
Regards,
Alessandro
