We have successfully restored a back-up to the site from Saturday, 1/14/2012 10pm. Some images and comments which were added after this time may not have been restored. If you happened to create an account on CG Cookie after this time period and are having trouble accessing your account, please let us know at support@cgcookie.com. Also if you create a new account and notification doesn’t come through please let us know. We were informed from Rackspace that they are working on a lingering DB issue which may be affecting CGC, and BA.
Thank you for the understanding and patience with us.

Our computers have come up with the following lessons that may interest you.
Everyone likes free stuff, but as artists free stuff can be a real life saver. With this round of free stuff, we are including 6 sky panoramic textures. These textures are 4096×2048 and are licensed as CC Attribution 3.0. You are free to use them for just about any use.
These images were created with Dreamscape from Afterworks, a 3D Studio Max Plugin. But don’t fret, these are .tgas and work great with Blender.
