Software: 3DS Max 2011
Time: ~20 hours (I work a full 40 hours so this is just all of the work sessions added together after I got home from work)

The main goal for this project was to focus on lighting. I have never played with photometric lights before and I figured it was about time I had. I used a photograph I found online as a reference for the scene.

It has a nice/warm feel to it. One thing to note, however, is the table surface (front) is slightly of the ground.

Thanks for the feedback! In the photo I was referencing this from, the leg is raised off the ground with another support beam underneath. You can kind of see it in the render but I guess it does look more like a shadow then a beam. I’ll just take it out and lower the leg to the floor to rid any further confusion.

    Congrats dude, is good!
There is somethings that I guess u should change. The colors (all looks like one color), the glass material and the book’s textures (have not).
    Anyway, good job!
