    Old render modelled inside max and composited with After Effects. Added an additional AO pass and a fake DOF. Looking at this image again, it does look as the towel is slightly too big and the room too small -and in hindsight wished that I added more furniture, o well.

      You are right, but it is really not bad, I like lighting and general mood. As you wrote, the towel is too big and basically the room seems too small due to the dof amount you added in post. If you try to have less dof, it will be better. BTW, good job !

      Thanks Alessandro, yes too much DOF I agree. However there was a reason I didn’t mention in the description why I did that. Lets just say my girlfriend would not have been too happy If I didn’t blur her image at the back wall lol. And yes I do have the scene without the DOF :)

      I did take some inspiration from your old tutorial ‘Creating an Architectural Scene’ that tutorial was useful inasmuch as creating this scene and creating other original interiors (I’ll post a better one). So cheers for getting my brain going :)
