<p>In this video for <a href="www.autodesk.com">3ds max</a> we&#8217;ll continue working at the Bullet/glass series, and we&#8217;ll focus on adding details to the breaking simulation and tweaking rendering setup.</p>
<h3>What we&#8217;ll do</h3>
<p>In Part 2 of Bullet breaks a glass we&#8217;ll add more details to the simulation using Particle flow and some broken pieces of the main glass. We&#8217;ll setup it with forces and collision to have more little debris in the breaking event. Then we&#8217;ll work more on bullet material and general iRay rendering setup adding motionl blur and depth of field.</p>

<p>In this new series for <a href="http://www.autodesk.com">3ds max</a> we&#8217;ll talk again about <a href="www.rayfirestudios.com">Rayfire</a>, and this time we&#8217;ll introduce an other problem that can be solved using this powerful tool, glass breaking with a bullet.</p>
<h3>What we&#8217;ll do</h3>
<p>In Part 1 of Bullet breaks a glass, we&#8217;ll work on the basic scene setup. We&#8217;ll prepare the models, using simple tools as splines and lathe modifier, then we&#8217;ll set some preliminary shaders. We&#8217;ll see how to break the glass in pieces using Rayfire fragmenter modifier, and how to setup breaking dynamic with the animated bullet. In Part 2 we&#8217;ll focus on look development and rendering.</p>

<p>In this video for <a href="http://www.autodesk.com">3ds max</a> we&#8217;ll finalize the Photoreal kitchen series with last modeling and rendering tweaks.</p>
<h3>What we&#8217;ll do in Part 7</h3>
<p>In Part 7 of Photoreal kitchen we&#8217;ll add more stuff all around as a knife, some cups, a metal pot, some additional water bottle, and all other things to fill it and make it more real. Then we&#8217;ll move to tweak the illumination working mainly on the photometric light we have in the kitchen changing intensity and color. To obtain a better look we&#8217;ll tweak the wall color, doing it a little bit darker to have a better image contrast. Just some tweaks to the camera and then the final image will be ready.</p>

<h3>What we&#8217;ll do in Part 5</h3>
<p>In Part 5 of Photoreal kitchen we&#8217;ll finalize the upper part of our kitchen furniture set modeling it with standard primitives and edit poly tools, we&#8217;ll add some interesting lighting rig inside the furniture with some additional objects inside as glasses etc etc. We&#8217;ll model some chairs and start modeling the other side of the room where we&#8217;ll put a new funiture set, so in Part 6 we can finalize it and start adding details all over.</p>

<h3>What we&#8217;ll do in Part 4</h3>
<p>In Photoreal kitchen Part 4, we&#8217;ll continue working on modeling stuff. This time we&#8217;ll finalize part of the main room and some different areas in the house, we&#8217;ll work to have a sun illumination coming from out, so we&#8217;ll tweak windows and glass surfaces. We&#8217;ll tweak some shaders too, as the wood pavement, the wall and we&#8217;ll add more details to the kitchen model.</p>

<p>In this video for <a href="http://www.autodesk.com">3ds max</a> we&#8217;ll continue working at the Photoreal kitchen series and we&#8217;ll add some details to models done past time and new part of the furniture.</p>
<h3>What we&#8217;ll do in Part 2</h3>
<p>In Part 2 of Photoreal kitchen we&#8217;ll focus on adding details to the fire plane model, and using editable poly and boolean opertators we&#8217;ll finalize it. Then we&#8217;ll start modeling part of the main furniture stuff. This time we&#8217;ll focus on main structure using splines, edit poly and some boolean operator. We&#8217;ll add some shaders to it to simulate the various materials. These materials will be tweaked and finished in coming parts.</p>

<p>In this video for <a href="http://www.autodesk.com">3ds max</a> we&#8217;ll work again at the Alien planet environment tutorial series. This time we&#8217;ll start focusing on modeling a simple space ship that we&#8217;ll be used in our animation.</p>
<h3>What we&#8217;ll do in Part 6</h3>
<p>In Part 6 of Alien planet environment we&#8217;ll start working at the space ship. We&#8217;ll start with simple basic modeling to obtain a rough shape to add more details step by step. We&#8217;ll model basic shape using poly modeling tools. We&#8221;ll create engines and additional details in coming parts. Actual plan is to prepare the model with a good level of details, prepare the textures, shade it, animate it moving in the Alien planet scene, then we&#8217;ll add FX layers as engine flame/energy, etc etc.</p>

<p>In this new video series for <a href="http://www.autodesk.com">3ds max</a>, we&#8217;ll work on a complete scene, a modern kitchen. Our purpose is achieving a high photoreal result, more than other projects we worked on in the past. We&#8217;ll do everything from modeling to final composite.</p>
<h3>What we&#8217;ll do in Part 1</h3>
<p>In Part 1 of Photoreal kitchen we&#8217;ll start with modeling some parts. This time we&#8217;ll focus on cooking plane modeling using basic modeling features as spline modeling, poly, lathe modifiers, boolean operations. We&#8217;ll assign some basic photoreal shader to the model and we&#8217;ll work to obtain a preview render at the end. We&#8217;ll use <a href="http://www.mentalimages.com/products/mental-ray.html">Mental ray</a> and <a href="http://www.mentalimages.com/products/iray.html">iRay</a> for rendering and basic materials will be done using the Arch&amp;Design shader.</p>
