In this new video for 3ds max we’ll work on a new layer for Monster tornado series. This time we’ll focus on the ground dust simulation.
What we’ll do in part 2
In Part 2 of Monster tornado tutorial series, we’ll work to obtain a ground sand layer moved my the tornado. We’ll take a look at how to add dust coming from the ground that we’ll move to the center of the twister and start rotating. We’ll use a gradient ramp mask to control where is dust on the ground, and using FumeFX we’ll simulate it using some additional forces as vortex and spherical gravity. In Part 3, we’ll tweak the tornado setup.
