Introduction to the tutorial series
In this video we’ll continue to work at our new Playing with particles advanced series, and this time we have to go more in depth to understand better how to setup a simple galaxy with Particle Flow.
What is covered in this part of playing with particles – advanced series
In this tutorial we have to move forward creating a more complex scene. To achieve a better control and result, we’ll go back at the PFlow setup to prepare it with a different approach. We’ll use an external border mesh as emitter, and we’ll move the particles thru the center of the galaxy using a Find Target operator. To add the spiral shape, we’ll use a Vortex space-warp, and to add chaotic movement, we’ll use the wind with turbulence we created in Part 1. We’ll tweak a little bit particle amount and spawning effect trying to achieve a good result to work on with Krakatoa, so at the end we’ll start to tweak rendering using Part 1 Krakatoa setup and some lighting sources. In Part 3 we’ll finalize the project.
