In this Citizen video for 3ds max, we’ll continue talking about fluid simulation in Realflow. We’ll start to take a deeper look at Hybrido engine, so we’ll see how to use the domain grid and how to work with its parameters, then we’ll see in depth the emitter topic and see how to optimize grid for simulation. At the end we’ll start to introduce secondary emission feature in Hybrido that give us the possibility to simulate spray and foam as a normal Realflow particle emitter, we’ll see how to add it to the domain, and how to start working with its parameters.

Awesome, it’s the height of the week when the new part gets released :)
Will there be a part that covers how to render splashes and stuff with krakatoa, maybe meshing with frost or 3ds own meshtools and general tips for making a big look water, how many particles in relation to the scene to get a really smooth mesh (having some problems with that myself right now with the project I’m working on).

Anyway great work and really a super tutorial series!

Thanks for posting, you can be sure we’ll start soon to see how to render splashes with Krakatoa, and how to work to achieve a good hi quality results in 3ds max.

That will be great! And will be covered how to make that 2 different surfaces , I mean the area of the simulation, and the extension to the ocean till the horizon, blend in the final animation?
Great work and waiting the next one!!

Hi Jose, you are right. We are preparing all these parts to see technical side of each problem we have to solve and then we’ll start working at final scene using different ways. Thanks !

Part 7 will come this week, then we’ll be near to start working at final scene.
