In this tip video for 3ds max, we’ll be back to talk about Mesh Distance texture and FinalRender Ocean. We talked in the past about the mesh distance to create a foam mask over a generic sea material, now we’ll take a look at how we can use it to control the foam presence using the FR Ocean shader, and we’ll see how to create a simple foam texture using some nested noise maps.
