In this video tip tutorial for 3ds max, we’ll continue to talk about some modifiers, and this time we’ll talk about the xForm. Using this modifier we can apply linear transformation with movement, rotation and scaling to a mesh, without changing its real transform value. All the changes will be applied to a “virtual” gizmo with full control over it in animation too, and with the possibility to use a different center to modify it. We’ll see how it can be useful in animation and modeling.
