In this new tutorial for 3ds max, we’ll work at the 3rd part of “Mini HI-FI system scene”. We’ll finish the modeling stuffs using the Graphite Modeling Tools, and then we’ll work on shaders to optimize it and add the right textures. We’ll work on final lighting using Photometric lights, and MR Photographic exposure, to have the final look in rendering.

    Hello Sir,

Once again, many thanks for all these very nice tutorials, I learn a lot !
I had one question please, if possible : How did you produce the bmp files (given in the texture folder) providing the front button labels ? With Photoshop ?

Many thanks, hope there are lot of tutorials of this king coming forward !

Hi, thanks to you for your support.
Usually to prepare the textures I use Adobe Photoshop or Corel Photo-paint. In some simple cases it is possible I prepare it with Combustion paint features too. It depends on the complexity and what I need for the scene.

It is really not bad, please try to do more test images using different camera position, trying to give it a more “interesting” look. You can make some testing with lighting too….but it is a good result ! :)
