A new tip tutorial from Max Cookie for 3ds max 2011 to talk about Viewport Canvas feature.

In this introduction we’ll see how to use it to retouch a texture, and how to add a mask to create a dirty effects inside a Composite Map. We’ll see how to create a texture from zero, how to select which texture or material slot we’d like to paint over, we’ll see how to paint using a color and how to blur using painting tools. We’ll see how to paint directly in the viewport and in a 2D view too.
