In this new tutorial for 3ds max 2010, we’ll take a look at Hairfarm plugin. We’ll see how to create some basic fur/hair setup using it. We’ll make a brief introduction to its rendering parameters and how to use various Hairfarm modifiers as Hair Generate, Hair Kink, Hair Frizza, Hair Gravity, Hair Length, etc etc. We’ll see how to use maps to control or masks parameters application too. We’ll take a very simple look at Hair shading using Hair realistic shader and Hair Variation color map.
