In this new 3D Studio Max video tutorial we’ll take a look at a fast way to add aging effect to a chrome metal shader. We’ll start using the Arch&Design shader and the basic “Chrome” template, then we’ll add dirty area, rusty area and other effects using noise procedural maps, composite maps, and we’ll work on the reflection too, masking it, and using the glossy reflection and changing the BRDF graph.

    Nice tut,
Can you teach us how to create a basic car paint shader with textures in the X format ( I mean using .FX files )
There is no tutorial about that on the web, it will be great to learn that from you if you have the time
