In this 3D Studio Max Video Tutorial we will start talking about Dreamscape plugin . We’ll take a general look at the plug-in structure, general information on how to use it and how many modules are installed. We’ll talk about Sun light simulation, Dreamscape physical sky model rendering, general cloud information, and then we’ll take a look at general features that can be found inside SeaSurface plug-in to generate ocean and wave simulation. At the end we’ll see how to create a really simple water shader using standard material and then we’ll start to see how we can use the custom Sea shader installed in 3ds max by Dreamscape.
*Dreamscape plugin is required to follow this tutorial

Once again a Great tutorial from one of the best tut sites on the internet!
I just visited MODO.COOKIE , its awesome! So many additions.
I am just saying, what if max cookie had a Vehicle rendering tut. as described below:
1.Adding shaders to the various parts of the car (lights, paint, rims, rubber, glass,)
2.Lighting and rendering the car in a real outdoor environment (like : http://i43.tinypic.com/25ioxhz.jpg )
I think it would be great, I hope you guys like the idea.
Thank you for such a great website
Thanks !
We are working on a series of tutorial on Max Cookie to talk about vehicle rendering using studio lighting setup and matching it in a real environment, so stay tuned for it !

thanks
