So hardware speed and memory is part of the problem, but you can imagine that it is still slow on a workstation as mine, Core i7 980X, 12GB Ram, it solves just the memory problem with lot of particles, but it doesn't solve slow speed or crashes. If you can, please send me a scene where you have problems, so I can try to see if here it works fine or not.
